Quarantine

Unfortunately if your falcon succumbs to a communicable disease they will be a danger to other healthy falcons and possibly their owners. We at SWFH have a quarantine section to isolate and prevent spread of the disease in question. The quarantine section has 6 isolated cabins that can be used to try and treat or monitor the falcon’s progress. They will be monitored at intervals throughout the day and given the relevant medication prescribed by our Doctors.

This section is also used to prepare and carry out research on diseases such as Avian Influenza, Newcastle disease and Falcon Pox, which is still such a grey area in avian influenza.
